I'm always interested in shows they did in my hometown. This is about 2/3 of a great show. Listening to it now on SiriusXM. Scarlet transition into Dancin' is worth checking out by itself. So are Sugaree and Lazy > Supp. But ... more music, please! And out of the barely 74 minutes for the 2nd set (which apparently includes the break before the encore), did they really need to spend 18 minutes on drums? I guess Jerry and Keith needed to get extra, extra high.

the very unique second set setlist is waht caught my eye at first, but the playing is what has kept me coming back for more. This aud is much better than the SBD in circ. (which has about 4-6 analog gens)
get this for the scarlet>dancin alone

...better than the board. The circulating SBD is anything but a Betty master reel, it's more like dug out of someone's trash. Get this sparkling AUD instead.

dont listen to this dancin on your headphones LOUD
after drinking a bottle of wine. your head WILL EXPLODE!
this is the new era for dead. the 78 is madness. they are really
deep on the stretched out drug trip. the mind expansion of 68-69 is long a thing of the past and country dead 70-71 is as far away as you can get from the hyperavtivity you get here. everyone is flanged out, hot acid riffs played at COKEY speeed. DANCIN is hotty hothot!!
the blackhole explorations of 1972 are forgotten, and the WAKE OF THE FLOOD/gd records phenom, three set 3+ hr, 25+ song shows with sprawiling Weather Report meanderings is refined down into 12-15 song, ELECTRIC TRIBAL EPIC stuff.......
mind melt = they are not shitting you. they love it too.

This is an amazingly crisp and clear audience. The mix is wonderful and the Scarlet>Dancin>Drums is breathtaking!
